How about if the Democrats encourage the Republicans in the House to bring reapealing the healthcare law to the floor for a vote ... but since the Republicans complain about the length of the bill, have them bring it up for a series of votes on each component:
- Restore the ability of insurers to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions
- Restore the ability of insurers to cancel coverage when you get sick.
- Restore the donut hole for seniors who need drugs
- Repeal the law that requires insurance companies to disclose details about executive and administrative expenditures
- Restore the ability of insurance companies to set lifetime limits on coverage for essential items
You get the picture ..
I'd like to see the Republican house memebers stand up and be counted on each provision of the legislation and see if they truly want to tell their consitutents that they stand against each the great provision of the health care law.
